These guidelines have been established to create a positive experience for you, our members and our visitors. Please read them carefully.
Real Estate Agent Directory
Attract clients by spending time on your directory listing. Remember, accounts are 100% free and easy to create so:
- • Be sure that you are listed in the right area
- • Write a catchy headline that succintly summarizes your services
- • Add a picture (50kb or less), a phone number and a link to your website
- • Get customers to leave feedback
Note: Accounts go through an editorial process, and will be removed for being spammy. Fake ratings/reviews are also grounds for removal.
Community Blog
All Homefinding Book members can write articles for posting in the Community Blog. Simply login and click on 'Submit an Article' on the left navigation. This will log you into Wordpress, our blog platform.
When writing articles, here are some guidelines:
- • Original articles are strongly preferred
- • All real estate topics are welcome (e.g. mortgage, fixer-uppers, international, etc.)
- • Summaries of other articles (yours or someone elses) are acceptable, but you should link to the original
- • By submitting an article, you are verifying its accuracy and allowing Homefinding Book an unlimited license to publish it
- • Do not submit duplicate articles; you can lose your account
- • Correct English and grammar apply
Your articles will go through an editorial process and are not guaranteed for publishing. However, we will work with you on it. You can email the editors through Wordpress >> Post an Article.
Receive Reputation points when your articles are published:
- • Published article: 20 pts
- • If your article is Liked: 2 pts
- • A comment on your article: 1 pt
Interacting with Others
We encourage all members to treat each other with respect. Different opinions are good and should be introduced. But do not flame members in their article comments or directory listing reviews.
